I have once again heard the Call. That silent whisper that beckons you to pick up your controller and put on your headset. The pervasive urge that can only by satisfied with the blood of your enemies. I am, of course, talking about the Call of Duty.
Its the end of August, which means it is starting to get a bit chilly outside. Pretty soon the lush green trees outside my college dorm window will start to wither and die, and Winter will set in. So it is around this time of the year to start picking up where I left off last year and get ready for the game I will undoubtedly be playing for the next year: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
I was a little rusty in my first couple of matches since I had been playing Battlefield 1943 all summer and not much else on the console side of things, maybe some Gears of War 2 here or there. I picked it back up (just like riding a bicycle) after a short amount of time, and I was back to pwning n00bs once more. You know you've settled into the game when you need to adjust the sensitivity because it was too slow. That, and getting messages saying you're using a modded controller, play the game too much, or claim you are things I'd rather not repeat in this post.
So, here's to Summer's end and the beginning of a new Gaming Season. Let the new releases commence!
Genre/Style:
Shooter/First-Person Shooter
Release Date:
06/NOV/07
If you see me online though don't hesitate to invite, and if I'm in a party and on CoD4 I'm probably with 2-3 others so feel free to join.
