It's seven days till I, as well as many others, arrive on Pandora in search of the fabled Vault of alien technology. I am, of course, talking about the Borderlands. I'm excited since it has been quite a while since I played something new and I can already tell Borderlands is going to be fun. So, if there are any other Fortune Hunters out there let me know as me and my crew are looking for some comrades to aid us in our search.

I'm going to be Mordecai (although I'll be naming by character Chrysen), and am going to focus mainly in the Sniper skill tree. If you would like to join me just join my game.

I hope to have it on day one and will likely play as Mordecai first as well. Multiple players can choose the same character in co-op, but I'll play all characters at some point. 360 version.

Cool. I don't think I'll be focusing in on sniper rifles, but it's all academic until we get to play.

i dont know what im going to focus on. they all look good. Based on the gameplay ive seen, it think being a sniper will be tough. there seems to be a lot of running and gunning.

I think they will all work and be fun in there own ways. From an MMO perspective if you don't go against NPCs above your level you should be ok no matter who you play. Roland looks to be the easiest from the skill tress side of it. If you do happen to run into trouble I could drop in one of my guys give you a hand.

I'm in the same boat as Terra, I'm really unsure which to focus on so I'll probably spend the first week playing around with each one until i find something that suits me.
I can still feel my excitement level beginning to build though!

@EarthboundX Yeah, I can see Borderlands turning into Hellgate:London.

Can't believe that I went out of my way to pre order that game. I guess it was because it got release on Halloween, but it's not like I got anything for reserving it.

Hellgate London got really good scores too. Of course, the reviews were made before the game changed to its crappiness.

Just watched three hours of some dude playing borderlands.
